Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**PAS-393** is an investigational immuno-stimulatory cannabinoid developed by Pascal Biosciences for use in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors to treat cancer. It reverses immune-evasion mechanisms employed by metastatic cancers, restoring immune recognition of tumor cells and enhancing the efficacy of checkpoint inhibitors, particularly for the over 50% of patients who do not respond to these therapies alone. Pascal Biosciences partnered with SōRSE Technology to optimize a water-soluble formulation for improved bioavailability, with plans for Phase 1a safety testing in healthy volunteers followed by Phase 1b trials in cancer patients.[1][2][5]
