Overview

PAT-DX3 is a humanized, full-sized IgG monoclonal antibody developed by Patrys Limited as part of its proprietary deoxymab platform. Derived from the 3E10 autoantibody, which was originally identified in a mouse model of systemic lupus erythematosus, PAT-DX3 is designed to bind to extracellular DNA and cellular debris. Its mechanism of action involves blocking DNA Damage Repair (DDR) systems within cancer cells and neutralizing or clearing pathogenic extracellular DNA. Notably, PAT-DX3 has demonstrated the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier in animal models, making it a promising candidate for treating primary and secondary brain cancers such as glioblastoma multiforme. Additionally, preclinical studies have shown that PAT-DX3 can inhibit neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) formation and reduce inflammation, suggesting potential applications in NETosis-associated cancers, autoimmune diseases, and vasculitis.
