PAT-LM1 is a fully human IgM monoclonal antibody being developed by Patrys as an anti-cancer therapy targeting a variant of the nuclear protein NONO (also known as nmt55 or p54nrb) that becomes aberrantly expressed on the surface of cancer cells but not on normal tissues.[1][19][6] By binding this proprietary NONO epitope on tumor cells, PAT-LM1 interferes with gene regulation and induces apoptosis and growth inhibition across a wide range of malignancies, including colon, lung, breast, ovary, pancreatic cancers and multiple hematologic cancers such as leukemias and lymphomas.[1][2][3][4][6] Preclinical studies in over 200 patient-derived tumors have shown that PAT-LM1 binds to approximately 98% of tested tumors regardless of cancer type, age, gender, or stage, and it has demonstrated strong and specific activity in lymphoma models as well as in metastasis models, supporting ongoing efforts to advance the antibody toward first‑in‑human trials and to out‑license it for indications such as colon cancer metastasis.[1][2][3][5][6][8][14][19]
