Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PAT401 is a preclinical-stage lysosome-targeting chimera (LYTAC) being developed by ProAbTech in partnership with KH NeoChem for the treatment of cancer. It utilizes ProAbTech's proprietary Albubody platform, which leverages albumin-binding moieties to facilitate the targeted degradation of extracellular or membrane-bound proteins via the lysosomal pathway. By recruiting specific cell-surface receptors that shuttle cargo to the lysosome, PAT401 aims to eliminate oncogenic proteins that are otherwise difficult to target with traditional small molecule inhibitors or proteolysis-targeting chimeras (PROTACs), which typically focus on intracellular proteins.
