Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PB-01 is a gallium-68 (^68Ga) labeled radiopharmaceutical developed by Primo Biotechnology for the diagnostic imaging of metastatic prostate cancer. As a radiotracer designed for use with PET/CT imaging technology, PB-01 specifically targets the Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA), a cell-surface glycoprotein that is significantly overexpressed in prostate cancer cells. By binding to PSMA, the drug allows for the precise detection and monitoring of primary and metastatic lesions. PB-01 is the Taiwanese market equivalent of Radelumin, a diagnostic agent approved in Europe, and is being developed in collaboration with the German company ABX advanced biochemical compounds GmbH to improve precision oncology and patient staging in Taiwan.
