Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PB-012 is a gallium-68 (68Ga) labeled radiopharmaceutical developed by Primo Biotechnology for the diagnostic imaging of metastatic colorectal cancer. It specifically targets Folate Hydrolase 1 (FOLH1), also known as Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA). Although PSMA is a well-established marker in prostate cancer, it is also highly expressed in the neovasculature of various other solid tumors, including colorectal cancer. PB-012 is designed as a PET imaging agent to identify FOLH1-positive metastatic lesions, which can assist in patient stratification and the monitoring of disease progression. The drug is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
