Overview

PB006 is a biosimilar of natalizumab, a monoclonal antibody that targets α4-integrin. It was developed by Polpharma Biologics SA as the first biosimilar monoclonal antibody therapy for multiple sclerosis treatment. PB006 works by blocking the movement of immune cells into the brain and spinal cord, thereby reducing inflammation that drives MS. Clinical trials have demonstrated that PB006 matches the reference natalizumab in terms of efficacy, safety, and immunogenicity in patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS).
