Overview

PB1101 is a human monoclonal antibody being developed by PB Immune Therapeutics for the treatment of autoimmune diseases, specifically Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Pemphigus Vulgaris (PV). Discovered using the company's proprietary 'ImmuneDict' platform—which integrates single-cell transcriptomics and spatial proteomics—PB1101 is designed to selectively target 'Disease-Specific Cells' (DSCs). These DSCs represent the specific pathogenic immune cell subsets responsible for driving disease progression, as opposed to broad immune cell populations. By focusing on these precision targets, PB1101 aims to achieve superior efficacy while minimizing the systemic immunosuppression and associated side effects common with broad-spectrum biologics like anti-CD20 therapies. The drug is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
