Overview

**PBM4M4** is an oral, minocycline-containing bismuth quadruple rescue-treatment regimen for *Helicobacter pylori* infection. It consists of a proton-pump inhibitor, specified in the trial as esomeprazole or vonoprazan, plus bismuth potassium citrate, minocycline 50 mg four times daily, and metronidazole 400 mg four times daily. The regimen was evaluated by Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine as an alternative to tetracycline-containing bismuth quadruple therapy in a real-world rescue-treatment study.
