Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**PBP1710** is a first-in-class human IgG1 monoclonal antibody that specifically targets and neutralizes collagen triple helix repeat containing 1 (CTHRC1), a protein overexpressed in many solid tumors including pancreatic cancer and non-small cell lung cancer[1][3][10][13]. CTHRC1 drives tumor growth, metastasis, and angiogenesis by promoting cancer cell migration through activation of the Wnt5 signaling pathway and upregulating Ang-2 secretion in endothelial cells, which subsequently activates the Ang-2/Tie2 axis in monocytes, facilitating tumor angiogenesis[1][3]. PBP1710 is designed to inhibit tumor growth, reduce metastasis, and remodel the tumor microenvironment (TME) by targeting extracellular matrix molecules and affecting processes such as collagen deposition and fibroblast activation[3]. Developed by Prestige Biopharma, it is intended primarily for the treatment of various solid tumors and is currently in preclinical development[1][3][10][13].
