Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PBX-002 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Pinotbio (Pino Biologicals) for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The candidate is built upon Pinotbio's proprietary PINOT-ADC™ platform, which utilizes a novel camptothecin-based payload that functions as a DNA topoisomerase I inhibitor. While the specific cell-surface antigen targeted by the antibody component remains undisclosed, the ADC is designed to deliver its cytotoxic payload selectively to tumor cells, thereby inducing DNA damage and apoptosis while minimizing systemic toxicity. PBX-002 is currently undergoing preclinical evaluation to support potential future clinical development.
