PBX-003

PBX-003 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Pinotbio (also known as Pino Biologicals) that targets the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). It is being developed for the treatment of various solid tumors, including colorectal cancer, lung cancer, and head and neck cancer. The candidate is built using Pinotbio's proprietary PINOT-ADC™ platform, which utilizes a camptothecin-based payload (a topoisomerase I inhibitor) conjugated to an anti-EGFR monoclonal antibody via a stable, cleavable linker. This approach is designed to selectively deliver the cytotoxic payload to EGFR-expressing malignant cells, potentially overcoming resistance to traditional EGFR inhibitors and reducing off-target systemic toxicity.
