PC-002p is a discovery-stage small molecule inhibitor targeting the Myc proto-oncogene protein (c-Myc), developed by Beijing Percans Oncology. c-Myc is a transcription factor that plays a central role in regulating cell proliferation, metabolism, and survival, and its dysregulation is a hallmark of many aggressive cancers. PC-002p is specifically being investigated for its potential to treat central nervous system malignancies, including glioblastoma, medulloblastoma, and brain metastases. By inhibiting c-Myc signaling, the drug aims to disrupt the oncogenic drivers that promote tumor growth and therapeutic resistance in these high-unmet-need brain cancers.
