Overview

PC-0083 is a long-acting injectable microsphere formulation of valproate sodium, a small molecule antiepileptic drug developed by Changtai Pharmaceutical (PharmaMax Corp). It is designed for the treatment of epilepsy, utilizing sustained-release microsphere technology to maintain therapeutic drug levels over an extended period. This formulation aims to improve patient compliance and reduce the side effects associated with the peak-and-trough fluctuations of traditional oral valproate therapy. PC-0083 is currently in the development pipeline for antiepileptic therapy.
