Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PC111 is a first-in-class, fully human monoclonal antibody targeting soluble Fas Ligand (sFasL), developed for the treatment of rare skin diseases such as pemphigus and Stevens-Johnson Syndrome/Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (SJS/TEN). It acts by inhibiting keratinocyte apoptosis and acantholysis, offering a non-immunosuppressive approach compared to current treatments like steroids and Rituximab. PC111 has shown efficacy in preventing blister formation in both in vitro and in vivo models.
