Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of four vaccines: Pneumococcal 13-valent conjugate vaccine (PCV13), Pfizer-BioNTech COVID‑19 vaccine (BNT162b2), Moderna COVID‑19 vaccine (mRNA‑1273), and Janssen/Johnson & Johnson COVID‑19 vaccine (Ad26.COV2.S). **PCV13** is a pneumococcal conjugate vaccine that protects against 13 serotypes of Streptococcus pneumoniae, preventing diseases such as pneumonia, meningitis, bacteremia, and otitis media by inducing an immune response to the bacterial polysaccharide antigens[1][4][5]. **BNT162b2** is an mRNA-based COVID‑19 vaccine encoding the full-length spike protein of SARS-CoV‑2; it induces immunity by prompting host cells to produce the spike protein, thereby eliciting neutralizing antibodies and cellular immune responses[6][10]. **mRNA‑1273** is another mRNA-based COVID‑19 vaccine encoding the stabilized prefusion spike glycoprotein of SARS-CoV‑2; it works similarly to BNT162b2. **Ad26.COV2.S** is a recombinant adenovirus type 26 vector-based COVID‑19 vaccine expressing the SARS-CoV‑2 spike protein; it stimulates both humoral and cellular immunity against SARS-CoV‑2. This combination would provide broad immunization against pneumococcal disease and multiple platforms for protection against COVID–19.
