PCV21 is an investigational 21-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine developed through a collaboration between Sanofi and SK bioscience. It is designed to induce the body to produce antibodies against *Streptococcus pneumoniae* serotypes, aiming to provide broader protection against invasive pneumococcal disease than current vaccines. Sanofi is responsible for global commercialization outside South Korea, while SK bioscience holds exclusivity in South Korea and contributes its vaccine technology and manufacturing expertise.
