Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PD-0360324 is a fully human immunoglobulin G2 monoclonal antibody that targets macrophage colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF or CSF1). By binding to M-CSF with high affinity and selectivity, it inhibits the interaction of M-CSF with its receptor (CSF1R), leading to suppression of certain monocyte populations and modulation of tissue macrophage activity. The drug was developed by Pfizer as an anti-inflammatory and antineoplastic agent for conditions such as solid tumors, rheumatoid arthritis, cutaneous lupus erythematosus, and pulmonary sarcoidosis. Clinical studies have shown pharmacodynamic effects on monocytes but limited clinical efficacy in some autoimmune indications[1][2][3][5].
