PD-0E7 is a novel metabolic modulator formulation composed of essential amino acids (EAAs), branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle intermediates, and specific co-factors. Developed to target mitochondrial dysfunction associated with aging, PD-0E7 has demonstrated the ability to preserve skeletal muscle mass and motor endurance (preventing sarcopenia) while maintaining cognitive function and working memory in preclinical models. Its mechanism of action involves boosting mitochondrial respiration by increasing the activity of respiratory complexes I, II, and IV, and enhancing mitochondrial biogenesis and quality control through the upregulation of PGC-1α, OPA1, and Nrf2. Additionally, it modulates amyloid-beta metabolism in the brain by upregulating the mitochondrial protease PITRM1 and reducing amyloid precursor protein (APP) levels.
