Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PD-1 inhibitor + SHR0302 is an investigational combination therapy comprising a PD-1 (programmed cell death protein 1) immune checkpoint inhibitor and **SHR0302**, a highly selective, oral small molecule Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) inhibitor. **PD-1 inhibitors** enhance anti-tumor immune responses by blocking the PD-1 pathway, thereby preventing tumor-induced immune suppression. **SHR0302** inhibits JAK1, modulating the JAK/STAT signaling pathway, which is involved in immune response and inflammation. This combination aims to harness synergistic effects: enhancing immune system activity against tumors while reducing mechanisms of immune evasion and inflammation. The combination is under clinical evaluation, notably in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who are either treatment-naïve or resistant to immunotherapy[5][6]. SHR0302 has also demonstrated efficacy as monotherapy for inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis[4].
