PD-1 inhibitor + sorafenib is a combination therapy regimen being investigated for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The regimen consists of a programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) inhibitor, which is a monoclonal antibody that blocks the PD-1 checkpoint to restore anti-tumor T-cell activity, and sorafenib, a small-molecule multi-kinase inhibitor.
