Overview
PD-32766T is an Actinium-225 (225Ac) labeled peptide radiopharmaceutical developed by PeptiDream Inc. for the treatment of Carbonic Anhydrase IX (CA9)-expressing cancers, specifically clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). It is part of a theranostic pair alongside PD-32766D, a Copper-64 (64Cu) labeled imaging agent. PD-32766T utilizes the alpha-emitting radioisotope Actinium-225 to deliver targeted radiation to tumor cells expressing CA9, a protein often overexpressed in hypoxic tumor environments and highly characteristic of ccRCC. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1a/1b clinical trials for patients with relapsed or refractory ccRCC who have progressed on standard therapies.
