Overview

PD-H is a specific strain of the oncolytic Coxsackievirus B3 (CVB3) being investigated as a therapeutic agent for various cancers, including pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and colorectal cancer. It exerts its anti-tumor activity by robust replication within cancer cells, leading to cell lysis and induction of apoptosis. It has shown potential in enhancing the efficacy of FAK inhibitors in pancreatic cancer and inhibiting tumor growth in syngeneic mouse models.
