PD-L1 x LAG-3 bispecific antibody (Cellemedy) is an investigational bispecific monoclonal antibody designed to simultaneously target and inhibit the Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1) and Lymphocyte-Activation Gene 3 (LAG-3) immune checkpoint pathways. Developed by Cellemedy, this therapeutic candidate aims to enhance anti-tumor T-cell activity by blocking two distinct inhibitory signals that contribute to immune evasion in the tumor microenvironment. Preclinical evaluations have demonstrated efficacy in melanoma models and a favorable safety profile in toxicity studies conducted at doses up to 200 mg/kg. The dual-targeting approach is intended to provide superior clinical outcomes compared to monotherapy by addressing multiple mechanisms of T-cell exhaustion and restoring the effector function of exhausted T cells.
