pDNA-rIL10 is a **gene therapy modality** utilizing plasmid DNA encoding the recombinant cytokine **interleukin-10 (IL-10)**, an anti-inflammatory protein. It is designed to deliver the IL-10 gene into target tissues via plasmid injection, leading to in situ expression of IL-10 protein for therapeutic benefit.
