Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PDS-08™ Pediatric Daily Synbiotic is a multi-strain synbiotic dietary supplement developed by Seed Health, Inc. for children and adolescents aged 3 to 17. It consists of a proprietary blend of 9 clinically studied probiotic strains (including *Lactobacillus rhamnosus* SD-GG-IT and *Lactobacillus acidophilus* SD-NCFM-US) and a dual-phase prebiotic comprising inulin and fructooligosaccharides (FOS). The formulation is designed to survive digestion and reach the lower small intestine and colon, where it promotes the enrichment of beneficial bacteria such as *Bifidobacterium*. PDS-08 is indicated to support digestive health, including the relief of intermittent constipation, as well as gut immune, dermatological, and respiratory health. While it has been evaluated in a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial, it is marketed as a dietary supplement and is not FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
