Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PDS0102 is a preclinical immunotherapy candidate developed by PDS Biotechnology in collaboration with the National Cancer Institute (NCI). The therapy utilizes PDS's proprietary Versamune® platform, which consists of R-DOTAP (a cationic lipid) nanoparticles, to deliver T-cell receptor gamma alternate reading frame protein (TARP) antigens. TARP is a tumor-associated antigen highly expressed in approximately 90% of prostate cancers, as well as in breast cancer and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). PDS0102 is designed to stimulate the immune system to generate a potent CD8+ killer T-cell response specifically targeting TARP-expressing tumor cells, with the goal of slowing or inhibiting tumor growth in TARP-positive malignancies.
