Overview

PDS0201 is a novel investigational tuberculosis vaccine being developed by PDS Biotech that combines the company’s Versamune/Infextimune lipid-based immune-activating platform with Mycobacterium tuberculosis antigens to induce broad and durable protective immunity against TB.[1][3][5][7] Preclinical data indicate that PDS0201 elicits robust antigen-specific antibody and T cell responses, including strong CD4 and CD8 T cell activation, designed to provide long-lasting protection against infection and disease caused by M. tuberculosis.[1][3][5][7] The program is positioned as a preventive vaccine for tuberculosis and remains in early-stage, preclinical development.[3][9][11]
