Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PDS0202 is an investigational **universal influenza vaccine** being developed by PDS Biotech for prevention of seasonal and potentially pandemic influenza. The candidate combines PDS Biotech's Infectimune immune-activating platform, based on the cationic lipid R-DOTAP, with computationally optimized broadly reactive antigen recombinant influenza hemagglutinin proteins. Preclinical formulations have included the bivalent COBRA antigens Y2, representing H1N1 hemagglutinin, and NG2, representing H3N2 hemagglutinin. The vaccine is designed to induce broadly reactive neutralizing antibodies together with influenza-specific CD4 and CD8 T-cell and memory T-cell responses. It is administered as a single intramuscular injection and remains in preclinical development. ([pdsbiotech.com](https://www.pdsbiotech.com/index.php/pipeline/infectious-disease/pds0202))
