Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PEACE Capsules (also known as PEACE+ Capsules) is a prescription-based Ayurvedic cannabis medicine developed by the Bombay Hemp Company (BOHECO). It is formulated with full-spectrum Cannabis Sativa L. (Vijaya) leaf extract, containing a balanced 1:1 ratio of cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), along with minor cannabinoids (such as CBG and CBN), Curcuma longa (turmeric) rhizome extract, and hemp seed oil. The medication acts on the endocannabinoid system by targeting the cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2 to modulate pain signals and reduce inflammation. PEACE Capsules are indicated for the management of mild to moderate chronic and neuropathic pain conditions, including menstrual cramps, muscle spasticity, post-surgery pain, backache, musculoskeletal pain, fibromyalgia, and mild-to-moderate rheumatoid arthritis, as well as associated symptoms like nausea, loss of appetite, and sleep disturbances. It has also been studied in the clinical management of breast fibroadenoma (Stangranthi).
