It consists of a combination of naturally occurring phytocannabinoids. The therapeutic focus for PECS-201 is broad, encompassing neuropsychiatric disorders such as anxiety, psychosis, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and schizophrenia, as well as neurological conditions like epilepsy and chronic pain. Additionally, it is being investigated for inflammatory skin diseases, including dermatitis, psoriasis, atopic eczema, and acne, as well as general inflammation. Phytecs Pharm utilizes a network of international academic partners, including the University of São Paulo and the European Brain Research Institute, to support the development of its ECS-targeted pipeline.
