Overview

PECS-202 is a preclinical botanical drug candidate developed by Phytecs Pharm. It is a phytocannabinoid combination formulation designed to modulate the endocannabinoid system (ECS). Formerly known as HU474 or HUF101, the drug is being investigated for a wide range of therapeutic applications, including neuropsychiatric disorders such as anxiety, psychosis, schizophrenia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Additionally, it is being explored for the treatment of epilepsy, chronic pain, and various inflammatory skin conditions, including dermatitis, psoriasis, atopic eczema, and acne. The development of PECS-202 involves collaborations with several international academic and research institutions, including the University of São Paulo, Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, and the University of Debrecen.
