**Pedanios** is a non-specific trade name used for a portfolio of prescription medical-cannabis dried-flower products, not a single chemically defined drug. The portfolio has included THC-dominant cannabis cultivars such as Pedanios 20/1, whose cannabinoid content, cultivar, cultivation site, and product specifications can vary. Its principal pharmacologically active constituent is generally delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, which activates cannabinoid receptors in the endocannabinoid system; cannabidiol and other phytocannabinoids may also be present in variable amounts.
