Pedialyte Organic

Pedialyte Organic is a USDA-certified organic oral electrolyte solution marketed by Abbott for prevention and treatment of mild to moderate dehydration associated with vomiting, diarrhea, heat exhaustion, exercise, and travel. It is a consumer oral rehydration product rather than a conventional pharmaceutical or investigational therapeutic, and its effect is achieved by replacing water and key electrolytes while providing carbohydrate to support intestinal sodium-glucose cotransport and fluid absorption. The formulation contains water, organic juice concentrates, organic dextrose, sodium and potassium salts, organic citric acid, organic stevia leaf extract, and zinc gluconate.
