Pediatric Xiao Chai Hu granules (Xiao'er Chaihu Keli) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) botanical product developed by Guangzhou Baiyunshan Guanghua Pharmaceutical. It is derived from the classic Xiao Chai Hu Tang formula, which is traditionally used to harmonize the Shaoyang stage in TCM theory. The preparation is specifically formulated for pediatric use to treat gastrointestinal-type common colds and upper respiratory tract infections characterized by Shaoyang syndrome, with symptoms such as alternating chills and fever, chest fullness, and digestive upset. It is currently undergoing Phase II clinical evaluation in China (CTR20253842) to assess its efficacy and safety in children.
