Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PEGASEMP is a proprietary dual-targeted pegylated nanoparticle platform developed by TREAT U for the delivery of small molecule cytostatic drugs. The platform is designed to target both tumor cells and angiogenic blood vessel endothelial cells within the tumor microenvironment, aiming to improve the therapeutic index of chemotherapy. Doxorubicin has been utilized as a proof-of-concept payload for the platform. PEGASEMP is currently in preclinical development for several oncology indications, including breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, melanoma, leukemia, and malignant mesothelioma.
