Peibao Capsules (胚宝胶囊) is an approved traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) developed and manufactured by Zhejiang Kangde Pharmaceutical. The primary active ingredient is fresh sheep placenta, which is processed using low-temperature enzymatic hydrolysis technology to preserve bioactive components. In the framework of traditional Chinese medicine, the drug functions to tonify kidney yang and nourish blood and essence. It is indicated for conditions associated with kidney yang deficiency and essence-blood depletion, including chronic non-bacterial prostatitis, erectile dysfunction, female menopausal syndrome, and anemia. Additionally, it is used as an adjunctive therapy for cancer and to treat respiratory conditions such as asthma and bronchitis. The product holds national traditional Chinese medicine protection status in China.
