Overview
The PEK fusion protein vaccine is a recombinant therapeutic cancer vaccine developed by Healthbanks Biotech for the treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and squamous intraepithelial lesions (SIL) of the cervix. It is a shared antigen, protein-based therapeutic vaccine designed to induce an immune response against human papillomavirus (HPV)-associated lesions. The mechanism of action involves immunomodulation—stimulating the immune system to recognize and target HPV-infected or transformed cells. The product has been studied in combination with GPI-0100, an adjuvant that enhances immune responses. Clinical data indicate it is safe and well tolerated in patients with low-grade or high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions and induces measurable immunogenicity[1][3][4].
