Overview
Pelgifatamab corixetan (PSMA TTC) is a radiolabeled antibody-drug conjugate developed by Bayer. It consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting the prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA), which is highly expressed on prostate cancer cells, conjugated to the alpha-emitting radioisotope thorium-227 via a chelator. The drug delivers targeted ionizing radiation to PSMA-expressing tumor cells, causing DNA damage and cell death through alpha particle emission. Its primary indication is metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). The agent represents an investigational targeted alpha therapy designed for selective delivery of cytotoxic radiation to tumor tissue while sparing normal tissues[1][2][3][4][5][7].
