This is a **combination therapy** consisting of four agents: pembrolizumab (a monoclonal antibody immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting programmed cell death protein 1, PD-1), boserolimab (a monoclonal antibody targeting CD27, a co-stimulatory immune receptor), carboplatin (a platinum-based small molecule chemotherapy that causes DNA crosslinking and apoptosis), and pemetrexed (a small molecule antineoplastic that inhibits folate-dependent enzymes involved in DNA synthesis and cell replication). This regimen is under clinical investigation for the treatment of advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and likely other advanced solid tumors.
