pembrolizumab + tesetaxel

Pembrolizumab + tesetaxel is an investigational combination therapy consisting of pembrolizumab, a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) immune checkpoint, and tesetaxel, an orally administered taxane-class small molecule chemotherapeutic agent. Pembrolizumab acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by blocking PD-1 on T cells, thereby enhancing antitumor immune responses. Tesetaxel disrupts microtubule function during cell division, leading to apoptosis in rapidly dividing cancer cells.
