Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Penetra-EGF (also known as NCPP-EGF) is a preclinical-stage cell-penetrating peptide (CPP)-fused epidermal growth factor (EGF) developed by TIMEBIO. By fusing a cell-penetrating peptide to EGF, the platform enhances transdermal and intracellular delivery, allowing the growth factor to bypass the skin barrier and reach the deeper dermal layer. Penetra-EGF stimulates keratinocytes and fibroblasts, promoting cell proliferation, collagen synthesis, and tissue regeneration. It is being developed for cosmetic and therapeutic applications, including wrinkle reduction, skin elasticity improvement, wound healing, and hair loss/scalp care.
