Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a multi-agent investigational anti-cancer regimen combining five drugs with distinct mechanisms of action: - **Penpulimab** is a human IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD‑1), functioning as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance T-cell mediated anti-tumor immunity. It has reduced Fc gamma receptor binding, potentially lowering immune-related adverse events[2][3][4][7]. - **Anlotinib** is a small molecule multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor that blocks angiogenesis and tumor growth by inhibiting receptors such as VEGFR, FGFR, PDGFR, and c-Kit[6][8][10]. - **Nab-paclitaxel** (nanoparticle albumin-bound paclitaxel) is a microtubule-stabilizing chemotherapeutic agent that inhibits cell division. - **Oxaliplatin** and **lobaplatin** are platinum-based chemotherapeutics that induce DNA crosslinking and apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. This combination leverages immunotherapy (penpulimab), targeted therapy (anlotinib), and cytotoxic chemotherapy to maximize anti-tumor efficacy. While combinations of some of these agents have been studied in various cancers—including nasopharyngeal carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, cervical cancer, urothelial carcinoma—there are no reports of all five being used together as a single regimen in approved indications or large clinical trials. The use would be considered experimental or under investigation.
