Penyan Formula

Penyan Formula is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal preparation developed by the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is specifically formulated for the treatment of chronic pelvic pain associated with the sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). As a botanical formula, it consists of multiple herbal ingredients intended to alleviate inflammation, improve local blood circulation, and provide analgesic effects in the pelvic cavity. In clinical research, it has been evaluated both as a standalone therapy and in combination with other TCM modalities, such as acupuncture at the Huiyin point, to address the pathological features of chronic pelvic inflammation, including tissue congestion and inflammatory exudation.
