Overview
Penyan Kangning capsule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation being developed for the treatment of chronic pelvic pain (CPP) resulting from the sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). It is specifically indicated for patients presenting with the TCM syndrome of damp-heat and blood stasis (湿热瘀结证). The drug is currently undergoing Phase II clinical evaluation in China to assess its efficacy and safety in reducing pain symptoms and improving the quality of life for affected patients. It is co-developed by the Xi'an Shangyikang Pharmaceutical Research Institute and Huachuang Synthetic Pharmaceutical.
