PEP-223 (also referred to as CoVaccine HT) is a peptide-based therapeutic vaccine developed by Pepscan Therapeutics for the treatment of prostate cancer and adenocarcinoma of the prostate. The vaccine is designed as an immunotherapeutic approach to modulate testosterone levels, which are known to drive the progression of prostate cancer cells. It utilizes a specific peptide sequence combined with the CoVaccine HT adjuvant system to induce an immune response.
