Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PEP-DC1 is an investigational personalized cancer vaccine composed of autologous dendritic cells pulsed with patient-specific peptides. These peptides are either detected or predicted in advance using integrated antigen discovery platforms. The vaccine is designed to stimulate the patient's immune system to recognize and attack tumor cells by presenting these personalized antigens via dendritic cells, which are potent antigen-presenting cells. The approach aims to enhance anti-tumor immunity in patients with high-grade gliomas and potentially other cancers[1].
