Overview

PEP-DC2 is a personalized autologous dendritic cell vaccine designed for cancer immunotherapy. It is manufactured by pulsing patient-derived dendritic cells with up to 10 selected tumor-specific peptides, which are chosen based on the patient’s immune response following prior vaccination with an oxidized whole-tumor lysate-pulsed dendritic cell vaccine (OC-DC). The selection of peptides for PEP-DC2 is guided by immunogenicity assays that identify antigens eliciting strong T-cell responses, aiming to enhance and personalize the anti-tumor immune response. Each dose contains 3–10 million antigen-loaded autologous dendritic cells in a 1 mL volume. The approach seeks to boost existing anti-tumor immunity and improve clinical outcomes in patients with recurrent ovarian cancer[1][4].
