PEPIDH1M is a synthetic peptide-based dendritic cell vaccine developed for the treatment of cancers, particularly gliomas with IDH1 mutations. The vaccine consists of a 25-amino acid peptide spanning the mutated region of IDH1R132H (isocitrate dehydrogenase 1), designed to stimulate an immune response against tumor cells expressing this mutation. It is administered intradermally, often in combination with GM-CSF and Montanide ISA 51 as adjuvants. The primary mechanism involves immunostimulation targeting mutant IDH1-expressing tumor cells. Developed by Duke University and Annias Immunotherapeutics, it has been studied in combination with standard chemotherapy (temozolomide) and other agents such as vorasidenib for recurrent or lower-grade gliomas[1][2][4].
