Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Peptide-MNM is a preclinical-stage therapeutic program developed by Interna Therapeutics that utilizes the company's proprietary MNM (Molecular Nano-Machine) delivery platform to transport peptides across the cell membrane. The technology is designed to overcome the historical challenge of delivering large, polar molecules like peptides into the cytoplasm, where they can modulate intracellular protein-protein interactions (PPIs). By targeting these PPIs, which are often considered undruggable by traditional small molecules, Peptide-MNM aims to address a wide range of diseases driven by aberrant intracellular signaling. The program is currently in the proof-of-concept stage, focusing on demonstrating the efficacy of MNM-mediated delivery for various therapeutic peptide sequences.
